Katya Muromtseva:  cornerstone STUDIOS' 2024-25 Studio178 Artist-in-Residence is Katya Muromtseva. Katya began her residency in April 2024 and will be at Cornerstone through March 2025. Welcome and congratulations Katya!

Cornerstone Studios welcomes new Member Artist, Elnaz Rafati. Elnaz, a sculptor, received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Shahid Behesti University in Tehran and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois Chicago. On Saturday, 06/0422, from 11AM to 5PM, please join us in Gallery178 to celebrate work by photographer Kathleen Holloway. Holloway’s work focuses on contrasting traditional photographic methods with a contemporary viewpoint. In her latest body of work, TRANSITIONS, Kathleen employs a variety of techniques, including encaustic, to illustrate the evolution of common things to reveal the beauty in changing the perspective. Holloway's work is on view through July 10, 2022, by appointment.

cornerstone STUDIOS is pleased to announce the selection of its 2022 Studio178 Artist-in-Residence, Farah Mohammad. Farah Mohammad (b. 1993, Karachi, Pakistan) is a printmaker and installation artist based in NYC. She works in different printmaking techniques to process complex feelings that arise from working with underserved communities and to negotiate her own presence as a Pakistani immigrant in the United States. Welcome Farah!

​A Song on Canvas for Arecibo: On Saturday, May 6, 2018, at 3pm, cornerstone STUDIOS' Executive Director Jeff Hoppa will curate A Song on Canvas for Arecibo, an auction of visual arts and musical performances to benefit artists affected by 2017's Hurricane Maria in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Sponsored by Coogan's, NoMAA, Community Board 12, Adriano Espaillat and cornerstone STUDIOS. $20 donation at the door.
